Welcome to Mind | Body Method and thank you for being here! My mission is to empower women to achieve health, fulfillment + balance in their lives. For those of you who know me already, you know this has been a long time coming.
My decision to create Mind Body Method stems from my own frustrations within the helping profession. Although (slowly) improving, there’s no denying that there’s a stigma associated with mental health. This stigma is at times perpetuated by the often sterile environments of mental health offices and the helping professionals who (by no fault of their own) are burned out due to the high volume of clients they are expected to see each day. With packed waiting rooms and delayed appointment times, clients are left feeling frustrated, anxious, and undervalued. In short, there seems to be a substantial disconnect between our society’s need and the current solution.
I realized that I needed to “be the change” in order to be effective at helping others. I craved a little more freedom + creativity; a method that would revitalize the way we think about asking for help. Because taking that first step toward improving your life is a bold move; it should feel exciting! There should be someone on the other end who is just as enthusiastic about transforming your life as you are. That’s why I’m here! That’s why Mind | Body Method was created.
So, I curated a space where I could take the time to get to know and focus on each individual client. A place for women who are already well, but who want to optimize their lives. Women who believe in the importance of mind + body health and are willing to invest in the time + effort in taking the steps to live their best lives.
